Many couples look to strengthen their relationship at different periods. A common time is when you are looking to get married. Pre-martial counseling can be so helpful in learning new ways to communicate, solve problems, and increase intimacy--all of which can give your marriage a solid foundation.  Another common time when relationships would benefit from enrichment work is pre-baby--especially a first baby.  Preparing for the changes a baby will bring can help your relationship not experience as dramatic a drop in satisfaction.   My goal is to provide a safe and neutral environment for your and your partner, which provides the foundation for positive growth.  Read more about couples counseling.

Trauma can turn your world upside down. I have specialized experience in trauma work. I work on building safety and creating stability, creating space for remembrance and mourning, and working towards reconnection and integrating with a desired life. I use evidenced-based treatments that have been shown to be effective in decreasing trauma symptoms, specifically Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. Both of these treatments are strongly recommended by the American Psychological Association for trauma treatment. In addition I also offer EMDR and tapping, both of which are also strongly support by the research. Read more about trauma-focused therapy.

Individual counseling is an opportunity for men and women to focus on their wellness. Read more about individual counseling.

For many people, faith and spirituality are a vital part of their life and an area from which much support and strength can be drawn.
